Day 4 Onboard (Friday)
Woke to seas less rough breakfast at
8am as we head more south to Greenland because the ice further north
is to thick for this ship. So today is leisurely with lectures and a
couple of videos. We learnt about all the different types of ice and
the difference between Glaciers and sea ice. We also learnt about
some of the birds around Greenland. Had afternoon tea around 4pm and
the recap of the day. Had lovely time reading my Kindle ( rugged up
to the max on deck in the sun ) Set dinner tonight another four
courses now a documentary on time laps about ice in Greenland. We
were woken up early in the morning for our first look at the Northern
lights. It was amazing but will be better with less moon. My god it
was cold.
